The Night Before Christmas, PouFWa edition.

By Julia, with help from Clement Clarke Moore

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes the Headmaster soon would be there.

The masses were sitting all by their laptops
All tired from their long days at the shoppes.
With Jen in her Ōkerchief, and Meg in her cap,
Dan sitting in comfort on PSÕs lap.

June, Mike and Ros with their blankets and tea
Were all sitting comfortably chatting with Chi.
Dobby and Julia came in with Melinder,
Hoping the fun she would not hinder.

Kezza was also there chatting and waiting
While various websites Jen2 was updating
When, who to our wondering eyes should appear,
But Headmaster Huggles, the bringer of beer!

In Ryan came with a drink in his hand,
Just what sort of chat did he have planned?
Who knew that he would bring all the booze
Rather than cause all the women to snooze.

In came Danielle with even more drinks,
Surely we would all get up to high jinks.
Jen2 and Kezza just stared in surprise
While Richard and Dan got a look in their eyes.

Melinder dispensed margaritas to all
What a great way to pregame for the ball.
Everyone else thinks theyÕre so smart
But weÕre showing up with quite the head start.

All of a sudden Richard conjured a chair
Down sat Meg, still fixing her hair.
Rich sauntered over and gave her a wink
She took another sip of her drink.

Out came the Twister and next thing we knew
A tangle of limbs came into our view.
PSÕs left hand was suspiciously placed
Right next to Ryan but not by his face.

The game then instructed right hand to green
So in that direction did everyone lean.
A little more that way and over we fell
It looks like at Twister we do not excel.

Then time to pack up and head to the ball
Amazing that we can still stand at all.
Fun times were had this Christmas Eve night
But now to the ball to do this thing right.

Doubtless the ball will be tons of fun,
But no way can our pregame be outdone.
Who knew that Ryan would bring all the booze,
But who was surprised that it was abused?

Our small party over, the ball is beginning,
Ros canÕt figure out why the room is still spinning.
Wolfrose and Chi are starting to dance,
Maybe theyÕre in for a night of romance.

Ryan stood up to give the speech
And this conclusion is what he did reach
We all heard him exclaim, as the fire burned bright,
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!"
