The war has been over for several years and everyone has moved on
with their lives. Ron and Hermione are finally getting married and Harry has
completed his Auror training. The events around Ron and Hermione’s wedding
force Harry to deal with feelings he’s been repressing since he made that
promise on his birthday so many years ago.
